Create Holiday Cards for Children In the Hospital

Audrey Pachuta, Student Writer

During this busy and chaotic time of the year it is important to reflect on how we as an Ursuline community can make the holidays a little brighter for the people who need it most. All you have to do is head on down to the library and use the construction paper and art materials on the table immediately to your left to create a Christmas card suitable for a child. If you need an example there are 112 cards in the white collection bin that you can get ideas from. As of Tuesday, December 10th, 1,649 cards have been collected. With your help the goal of 4,000 cards can be fulfilled. This year cards will be going to the following hospitals:

Weisman Impatient- Marlton, NJ

A.I DuPont- Wilmington, DE

Hershey Medical Center- Hershey, PA

St Christopher’s Hospital- Philadelphia, PA

Shriners Medical Center- Philadelphia, PA

Vorhees Impatient- Vorhees, NJ

Crozer Medical Center- Chester, PA

Various Ronald McDonald Houses

*If anybody would like to deliver cards to DuPont on Friday, December 13th at 5PM, email Audrey Pachuta at [email protected] We will leave from Ursuline.
